THE JUNIOR SEAU CELEBRITY GOLF CLASSIC
The Foundation’s largest fundraiser is the Junior Seau Celebrity Golf Classic in early March. The three-day weekend kicks off with the Legends Party at SEAU’S The Restaurant. The festivities move to the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine, followed by the golf tournament the next day at Fairbanks Ranch Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. Foundation sponsors get to play a round with NFL players, alumni and other celebrities. Each year a Legend is honored for their commitment to family, sportsmanship, and community. Past Legends include Sid Brooks, Lance Alworth, Sid Gillman, Don Coryell, Marcus Allen, Deacon Jones, Bobby Ross, Warren Moon, Marshall Faulk, Charlie Joiner, John Lynch and Bill Walton.
The 2012 Legend of the Year is TBD.
